Personal Evaluation:

I cannot believe I did not know about SlideShare before finding it on Jane Harts Top 100 Tools for Learning. I have only been able to play around on SlideShare for a few days, but from what I can tell this site is a very useful resource to have. What I have found most useful about the site is that you can search for any kind of presentation you are looking for and it will give you a selection to choose from. For example I was looking for something to add to my Edmodo wiki page about reasons to use Edmodo. I went to SlideShare searched Edmodo and came up with a bunch of different presentations about Edmodo. How easy is that?
Another cool feature I found on SlideShare is that if you have registered you will have a profile, it is similar to twitter. You have a profile page and then you can follow people or they can follow you. If you follow someone the presentations they share will show up in your newsfeed. If you find presentations you like you can share them, mark them as favorites or save them to your computer. When I was exploring SlideShare and trying to figure out all its features, I came across the presentation below that I really enjoyed and had to share!
Lastly on SlideShare I tried uploading my own presentation. It was a PowerPoint and it took literally 3 seconds. It was so fast! If I wanted to, I could then easily share the presentation with anyone!
Great Site! I give it two thumbs up, although I am disappointed that I am just now found out about it!

Here is the presentation I found when I was searching around on SlideShare. (It starts out a little slow, give it at least until slide 30!)
